I’m a Product Manager and a trained Engineer. Over my 10+ years in the tech industry, I’ve worked on a mix of consumer and enterprise focused products/services. These include Office 365, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Exchange, Outlook.com, and a variety of incubator apps released to the Apple Store.
I have hands-on experience leading the product development cycle, focused on leading product management, user experience, and the engineering teams.
I am currently leading a cross team effort at Microsoft where I'm responsible for key infrastructure pieces to enable a variety of cross company initiatives. More information about this effort in the coming months!

Senior Product Manager
2015 - Driving major cross team/product infrastructure for document collaboration scenarios. More details to share in the coming months.2014 - Started mobile app incubator effort within Microsoft Outlook Services team which provided proving ground for targeted experiments which has impacted our roadmap for communication software across Microsoft. During this time, I was the Subject matter export for in app analytics, user reporting, and tracking.
2013 - 2014 - Drove major architecture changes and new developer APIs to simplify the Calendaring workflows in Exchange/Outlook/Outlook.com. This effort reduced support calls and escalation by 85%. The new developer friendly API has also unblocked a number of key third party services to implement support for Microsoft Calendaring services.

Key owner for meeting scheduling scenarios across Microsoft Calendaring products. Improved web services to provide real-time availability information for Exchange users.Enabled Calendar Sharing solutions for Exchange 2010 users. Gave end users the ability to share their calendar inside their org, outside their org, as well as cross premises. Calendar sharing became one of the key drivers for adoption of Office 365 hybrid deployments.

Job Description
Communication & Collaboration Architect
I was responsible for deploying and maintaining the campus communication and collaboration systems. This included Exchange as well as Office Communicator (now Skype for Business). Also, I lead the effort to move the enterprise mail system to the cloud. Ball State was one of the first universities to move to Office 365.
Lead Data Protection
I ran the enterprise data protection system. This included ensuring that all core university systems were properly backed up for disaster purposes. This included backing up 200+ Windows based servers, as well as 1000s of faculty and staff machines.My Volunteer Work

Teacher
2015 - Teaching Introduction to Computer Science at Juanita High School to a class of 25 students as part of the TEALS program. To prepare to teach High School, I had to complete a series of extensive training focused on classroom management and curriculum development. The curriculum developed teaches students basic computer science concepts in a way that is easy to understand and most importantly fun.
